Matt Damon acted like a doting dad as he went shopping with his two daughters and wife Luciana at Westfield Bondi Junction on Tuesday.

The 53-year-old Hollywood star is in Australia promoting his new film The Instigators, but took time out of his busy schedule this week to spend time with his family.

He proved to be a very doting father when he took his two youngest daughters, Gia, 16, and Stella, 13, shopping on a cloudy day in Sydney.

For the outing, Matt looked relaxed in a black t-shirt and blue jeans, which he paired with a black jacket and comfortable sneakers.

He completed his look with a navy baseball cap and tucked a pair of sunglasses into his T-shirt as he accompanied his two daughters and wife Luciana to the shops.

Producer Luciana, 48, looked effortlessly chic in a black jumper and baggy jeans, which she paired with white trainers.

She carried her essentials in a small black bag and shielded her eyes with aviator sunglasses.

Gia wore a grey hoodie and jeans, while Stella wore a black North Face jacket and baggy trousers for shopping.

The family were seen carrying bags as they left the popular Bondi shopping spot and headed to their vehicle.

Matt also shares another daughter, Isabella, 18, with Luciana, and adopted her eldest daughter, Alexia, 25, from her previous relationship with Arbello Barroso.

Matt met Luciana in April 2003 when he was filming Stuck On You in Miami and she was working at a bar. The couple married in December 2005.

Matt is well known for his love of Australia and frequently travels to the region to spend holidays with his loving family.

On his latest trip, Matt was accompanied by his wife Luciana and his two youngest daughters as he promoted his upcoming film, The Instigators.

The family also met up with close friend Lauren Phillips and her businessman fiancé Paul O’Brien during the big trip.

Speaking on Sunrise last week, Matt gushed about his love for Queensland and in particular Brisbane’s iconic agricultural festival, The Ekka.

“You’re almost half Australian these days. It seems like you’re at Ekka every two years,” said journalist Steve Hargrave.

“I’ve been to Ekka for several years in a row,” Matt admitted. “But I don’t know if I’ll be able to go this year, because I have to go back to the States.”

The action star admitted that he is usually the one who rides the “scary” rides while his family prefers to watch from the sidelines.

“My kids love it because they make me go on all these scary rides and, you know, their mom refuses to go,” Matt said.

“So I get the short end of the stick. They like to watch me get whipped by those things.”
