A driver believed to be high on drugs has been filmed crashing into two police cars several times in a shopping center car park before taking off in his Holden Commodore.

The man then started the engine and repeatedly crashed into the two police cars parked nearby, reversing and ramming them several times.

They also tried to get the driver out of the car, but they couldn’t stop him and they left the parking lot.

Police later found the Commodore, which had no license plate, abandoned about 8 kilometers away in Reservoir. It has been seized for forensic examination.

Investigations into the man’s whereabouts are ongoing.

No police officers were injured during the altercation, but a police van suffered moderate damage, as did a civilian’s car.
