Leonardo DiCaprio treated his 16-year-old niece Normandie Farrar to some lavish shopping in Beverly Hills over Memorial Day weekend.

While with his father, George DiCaprio, and stepmother, Peggy Farrar, the 49-year-old Oscar winner was seen pampering his niece while taking her to several luxury boutiques, as well as Tiffany & Co. and Prada.

The teenager, who was notoriously “kidnapped” at the age of six by her own father, looked happy as she walked down the sidewalk alongside her family with two large shopping bags over her shoulder.

DiCaprio attempted to keep a low profile during the outing while sporting a black Dodgers baseball cap, a blue face mask, a black puffer jacket and a gray T-shirt.

After enjoying some retail therapy, the group reportedly enjoyed some quality time together at South Beverly Grill.

The family’s sighting comes two months after he and his loved ones enjoyed a rare meal together at Cipriani in Beverly Hills.

Normandie’s parents, Charity Moore and Adam Farrar, Leo’s older stepbrother, were not present at any of the outings.

Charity and Adam have had headline-grabbing legal troubles over the years, including a 2016 arrest for alleged petit larceny.

The “kidnapping” scandal unfolded in January 2014, when both Adam and Charity were arrested separately on drug charges.

Adam was arrested in Texas, where he had eloped with his daughter, illegally, since Normanie was dependent on the California court due to her parents’ criminal record and should not be taken out of the state.

At the time, Normanie was only six years old.

Normandie was discovered in Texas on January 30 and brought back to California, where she was placed in the care of her grandfather, Leo’s father, George DiCaprio.

Meanwhile, Adam was arrested and charged by the Los Angeles Police Department with “hiding” his daughter in another state.

At the time, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services said online radar: ‘I am happy to confirm that this child has been found. It’s great news. Beyond that, I really can’t say more.”

Before their estrangement, Leonardo and his stepbrother, Adam Farrar, used to be close and had been seen attending several Los Angeles Lakers games together.

In 2014, sources told RadarOnline that the couple “haven’t had any contact in recent years and are not getting along.”

It has been widely reported that DiCaprio was inspired to pursue acting after watching his stepbrother carve out a career in commercials, films and television in the 1980s.

Farrar is best known for his roles in the science fiction series Battlestar Galactica and the ABC comedy-drama Eight is Enough.

However, when DiCaprio’s career took off in the late ’90s and Farrar’s stalled, things ended quite differently for the brothers, who grew up together in Los Angeles after DiCaprio’s mother, Peggy, married him. Farrar’s father, cartoonist George DiCaprio, when he was just one.

Since 2010, Farrar has been in and out of court accused of harassment, possession of controlled substances, driving without a license and domestic violence.

In 2000, while DiCaprio was enjoying the success of his blockbuster Titanic, Farrar was arrested on charges of trying to kill his then-girlfriend and making terroristic threats.

At the time, Peggy DiCaprio said of her troubled stepson: “Adam is one of the most peaceful people I know,” according to New York Daily News.

Farrar was released 48 hours after his arrest in March 2000 and charges against him were eventually dropped.

People Magazine reported that two years earlier, the struggling actor was in trouble with the law after allegedly assaulting a photographer who was chasing his superstar brother. No charges were ever filed in that case.
