Larry Emdur claimed his first Logie award on Sunday night when he took home a silver and secured gold at the 2024 ceremony at the Star in Sydney.
And the next day he was forced to fulfill a strange promise he had made the previous week: take off his pants live at a breakfast and get a tattoo on his butt.
The Morning Show presenter, 59, found himself in a compromising position on Monday when he had the initials of fellow Gold Logie nominees permanently etched into his skin.
Larry lay face down on a portable tattoo table in the middle of the breakfast studio as co-host Kylie Gillies looked on.
With his pants pulled down to his butt, tattoo artist Zach Spiros of Bondi Ink covered his bare lower body with a black towel.
“You have no idea the conversation we just had. I’m sorry, it’s been 17 years and I’ve never looked at it from this angle,” Kylie, 57, said while laughing.
Larry said, ‘I can’t see what’s going on and Kylie comes over and says, “It’s too close to your crack.”
Kylie laughed: “I’m living my best life… it’s actually shaking.”

Larry explained to viewers: “I said if I won the Gold Logie, I was so sure I wasn’t going to win that I would get the initials of the nominees tattooed on my bum.”
As the tattoo artist began pressing the needle into Larry’s skin, he struggled to explain what the artwork would look like, while making jokes the whole time.
“I think I’m more concerned about… where’s Zach’s thumb?” he said at one point, adding moments later: “Is that how they take you into that little room at the Border Security station? I think so.”
Meanwhile, Kylie was standing behind Larry, trying to take videos and photos of his butt while it was being tattooed.
“Oh, Kylie, after 17 years our relationship ends here,” Larry joked, calling her a “perv” at one point as Kylie laughed.

The big reveal of Larry’s tattoo was a line drawing of the Logie Award winner holding the TV, and inside the TV were the letters ‘JM RI AK SK TA AL’.
The letters were the initials of the other Gold Logie nominees Larry beat on Sunday night: Julia Morris, Robert Irwin, Asher Keddie, Sonia Kruger, Tony Armstrong and Andy Lee.
Larry scooped his first Logie award and took home gold at the 2024 ceremony in Sydney on Sunday night as he led the pack of celebrity winners.
The TV star has been a recognisable face on Australian screens since the age of 19, but has never before claimed a win at the prestigious awards ceremony.
In a historic win, Larry was crowned Most Popular Presenter as he took home the Bert Newton Award in his first ever Logies win.

In an incredible feat, he was later crowned the winner of the coveted Gold Logie as he swept the big night.
Taking to the stage at the Logies ceremony, The Morning Show presenter got the crowd roaring, making light of the number of times his shows have been cancelled over the years and his wide range of questionable hosting work.
‘YO “I just remembered that I said if I won this, I would get all the nominees’ initials tattooed on my butt tomorrow live,” she began, drawing laughter from the audience.
“I’m sorry, Sylvie (his wife), I know we had planned to go to a fancy hotel but it looks like I’m going to be doing squats all night.”
“(Sunrise host) Nat Barr looks at me like, ‘Honey, I’ve got to get up in 25 minutes,'” she continued, referencing the awards ceremony that lasted nearly six hours.
‘I love this business. I love being on television and I never wanted to do anything else.
‘Whether it’s sitting on the couch on The Morning Show interviewing Lindy Klim, who has invented a new product: a face mask for vulvas; or a 300-pound truck driver who has won on The Price Is Right by having dry sex with me; or being the most fired man on television.’
Larry had the audience laughing out loud during his Gold Logie speech, as he joked that he was “the most fired man on television.”
