Kyle was first linked to Ingeborg in June 2023.
In November of the same year, they almost confirmed their romance after each uploaded a photo collage gallery to Instagram containing a very cozy image.
The couple’s good news comes after Chalmers revealed he almost quit swimming amid the infamous love triangle saga that rocked the Australian team in 2022.
Chalmers was in the eye of a media storm for his involvement in a love triangle with his ex-girlfriend Emma McKeon and fellow swimmer Cody Simpson.
His backflip at the world championships, in which he did a 180-degree turn on his decision to skip Budapest, thereby denying Simpson a spot on the team, led to accusations that his decision was not based solely on swimming. .
The story didn’t go away during the Commonwealth Games, where the three swimmers competed for Australia in Birmingham, and Chalmers says he spent the hours before his 100m freestyle race crying in his hotel room.
“It’s a sport that I love.” he told A Current Affair. ‘But I was in a very, very dark place.

‘Thinking about that. He would ask me “why am I doing this? Why?”

Chalmers previously revealed he had written a retirement statement amid his struggles and instead wanted to play local football in Australia.
“It was very, very stressful,” Chalmers told the Soda Room podcast. “I was going to say, now that I’m done, I’m going to stay in Port Lincoln and play country football.”
He added that any suggestion he kept Simpson out of the team for Budapest was “absolute bullshit”, but it wasn’t until the Commonwealth Games that he reached his all-time low.
“We’ve just broken the Commonwealth record and won gold… and they’ve just teed off,” he says. «Not a single question about swimming… Everything called a fight was complete nonsense. There was no enmity.
