But Kim Kardashian appeared to make a major fashion mistake on Sunday as she led arrivals at Balenciaga’s star-studded show during Paris Fashion Week.
The reality TV star, 43, flaunted her curvy physique in a figure-hugging black lace dress as she posed for the cameras.

As Kim headed to watch the show, the label swung freely behind her, but was then seemingly absent when she entered the venue to sit in the front row.
However, she often opts for edgy styles and unconventional outfits, meaning the label was likely an intentional accessory and conversation piece.
It comes after earlier this year, Kim came under fire from fans after revealing she had become a Balenciaga ambassador, a year after the brand faced controversy over an advert featuring children and BDSM items.
The reality TV star announced her partnership with the label, run by creative director Demna Gvasalia, in January.
She previously refused to cut ties with the fashion house but said she was “shocked and disgusted” by the images which sparked a backlash against the brand.
Since then, he has made his loyalty clear by participating in an advertisement for Balenciaga’s upcoming Summer 2024 collection.
After announcing his new partnership, many fans were disappointed by the decision and responded to his statement, in which he wrote that his relationship with the brand was based on a “commitment to doing the right thing.”
‘Of all the brands, she had to choose the one that featured allegations of child abuse. I’m not even surprised though…’ one person wrote, while another called her a ‘hypocrite’ and added: ‘Money is the only thing she cares about.’

Another person accused Kim of throwing her “morals out the window” in exchange for money, while someone added: “Anything for money and a higher net worth I guess.”
Others criticized the SKIMS founder for his hypocritical behavior: “She basically said fuck Balenciaga when they were getting backlash, but now that it’s safe for her brand, she’s back?”
Many others attacked the brand, calling it “trash” and “cancelled.”
Kim’s full statement about becoming a brand ambassador read: “For several years now, Balenciaga designs have been a part of my many looks and some of my most iconic fashion moments.”
“This historic fashion house embraces modernity, craftsmanship and takes an innovative approach to design under the direction of Demna.”
‘For me, this long-standing relationship is based on mutual trust and a commitment to doing the right thing. “I am excited about this next chapter for the brand and becoming its ambassador.”
Kim starred in Balenciaga campaigns, walked in their show and accompanied Demna to the 2021 Met Gala.
Following Balenciaga’s misjudged campaign, Kim shared a statement on her Instagram where she wrote: “I’ve been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been shocked and outraged by Balenciaga’s recent campaigns, but because I wanted a chance to speak out.” with his team to understand for myself how this could have happened.

He later reissued the statement in which some of the wording was modified using stronger language and added: “any attempt to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society, period.”
Overall, though, Kim said she is comfortable with how the company reacted to the scandal.
‘I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and their apology. “In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the problem and will take the necessary steps to ensure this does not happen again.”
In an additional post on both Instagram and Twitter, he said he was reconsidering his relationship with the fashion brand but had not yet made many firm decisions.
“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, based on their willingness to accept responsibility for something that should never have happened to begin with, and the actions I hope they take.” to protect children.’
