Kesha made a notable change to the lyrics of her song Tik Tok while performing at Coachella in Indio, California, with Renee Rapp on Sunday.
The singer, 37, was one of the surprise guests that Renee, 24, brought to accompany her during her first performance at the music festival.
While performing her 2009 hit song, Kesha changed the lyrics from ‘Wake up in the morning’ Feelin’ like P. Diddy’ to ‘Wake up in the Morning’ like f**k P. Diddy’.
As they sang the line, both women raised their middle fingers in the air to cement the point. Kesha also took to her Twitter and reiterated the message, writing in capital letters: ‘WAKE UP IN THE MORNING LIKE F**KP DIDDY.’
The lyrical change comes as hip hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, 54, faces allegations of sex trafficking and abuse, and federal agents recently raided his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

His fans quickly took to Twitter to discuss the change in lyrics.
Rapper 50 Cent, Diddy’s long-time nemesis, shared the video of the performance on his Instagram and wrote: ‘LOL she said fuck P DIDDY hahahahaha Puffy like 50 told her to say that!’
One commenter claimed that the lyric change had “shaken them to the core”. Another person added: “Yeah, Renee and Kesha ate it.”
“Kesha Renaissance is really happening omg,” someone else wrote.
This isn’t the first time Kesha has changed the Diddy reference in her song. In November of last year, Kesha removed Diddy’s name from the lyrics entirely after his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him of rape in an explosive lawsuit.
The star removed the Diddy reference during shows in Oakland and at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
During his performances, he changed the lyrics to: “Wake up in the morning feeling like me.”
Kesha seemed to sympathize with Cassie, after she herself filed a lawsuit against record producer Dr. Luke in 2014.
She alleged that he drugged and raped her in 2005 and emotionally abused her for years.
In turn, he accused her of defaming him, saying she had made up her claims to try to get out of his record contract, and that a trial had been set for this summer in New York.
But a joint statement released in June 2023 announced that the couple had reached a resolution in the case.

She paired the look with denim shorts and white cowboy boots.
Meanwhile, Renee sported a black bra, black sweatpants, and an oversized black trench coat.

Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided on March 25 in connection with a federal investigation into sex trafficking amid multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits.
Most recently, the I’ll Be Missing You frontman was named in a lawsuit as a co-defendant alleging his son Christian ‘King’ Combs sexually assaulted a woman who worked on a yacht he rented.
The lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court says Combs created the circumstances that led to the assault and paid to cover it up afterward.
Aaron Dyer, an attorney for Sean and Christian Combs, called the lawsuit in a statement “lewd and baseless,” adding, “We will file a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim.”
The raids came after the Harlem-born hip-hop star was the subject of a series of lawsuits alleging sexual assault, rape and other crimes after he settled a similar lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend Cassie in November.
‘Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,’ Diddy wrote on December 6 in his only statement on the matter.

“People looking for a quick payday have made disgusting accusations against me. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the horrible things that are alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.’
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on the basis that I have some level of control,” Cassie said in a statement.
Combs, a three-time Grammy winner and founder of Bad Boy Records, is among the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the past three decades.
He turned his hip-hop empire into a broader business empire that includes private label spirits, fashion and a television network.
