FNC’s interview with Harris also far surpassed the viewership of CBS News’ 60 Minutes interview from just a few weeks ago.
That interview, which featured both Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, averaged 5.7 million viewers.

She repeatedly asked him to stop interrupting her when he probed her answers.
At times, Baier and Harris would talk over each other as they tried to make their points.
There were also tense exchanges over Harris’ stance on taxpayer-funded sex surgeries for inmates and illegal immigrants.
The former president applauded Baier and the network after the interview aired.
“Great job by Bret Baier on his interview with the liar Kamala Harris,” Trump posted online.
“He has a huge, hopeless case of Trump derangement syndrome; in fact, it’s so bad that he can barely talk about anything other than the man who had the best economy of all time, the strongest frontier in the history and has just received the unanimous endorsement of the United States Border Patrol, yo!’
“She’s also the worst vice president in history, but let’s hope she leaves soon.”
He then again congratulated Baier “for a tough but very fair interview, which clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is.”
