West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui insists he does not feel any extra pressure despite suggestions his job is on the line ahead of Saturday’s game against Everton.
The Hammers have had a difficult start under the Spaniard and have won just two of their last eight league games.
It is understood owner David Sullivan could consider reviewing Lopetegui’s position as head coach if the Toffees defeat West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.
But Lopetegui insisted that everything remains the same, and does not suggest that the owner has put pressure on him.
“I talk to him every week, as usual,” Lopetegui said of his relationship with Sullivan.

It is understood owner David Sullivan could review Lopetegui’s position as head coach.
‘We know, I’m not going to say what we talked to him about. I talk to him every week about the different situation of the team, but it hasn’t been different than any other week. We talk every week.
‘I have lived with extra pressure since my first day as a coach. I know my job, what we are doing here and what we can do.
‘I try to focus on the daily work and the next game, this is the main thing I do as a coach and the players too.
‘But I understand the question: we always work under pressure and we have to accept that it is normal in our work.
“I’m sure we have plenty of time to change and turn this bad time into a good time.”
