President Joe Biden invited the Kansas City Chiefs to the White House on May 31 to celebrate their second straight Super Bowl win earlier this year.
The Chiefs prevailed in the NFL’s marquee event once again in February after pulling off a dramatic victory over the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.

It means the president is set for an awkward encounter with Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who recently criticized his stance on abortion.
Butker sparked a huge controversy with his recent commencement speech at Benedictine College, where he stated that he supports the “murder of innocent babies” while also targeting women and the LGBTQ+ community.
