A viral video showed the president and his wife, Jill Biden, leaving the White House after he addressed the nation about his decision to drop out of the presidential race.
While many commentators praised the 81-year-old for his years of service to his country, conspiracy theorists have since made bizarre claims about his height and that the man in the video was a “stand-in” for Joe.
Theorists have also suggested that his supposed growth was a side effect of COVID-19, which he battled earlier this month.

They believed Jill looked as tall as the president’s chin and then claimed that the average distance from the chin to the top of a man’s head is 9.5 inches.
After converting centimeters to inches, using the lower end of those numbers and averaging the digits, User X believed he had arrived at what he believed to be the correct height difference.
They concluded their findings by assuming that COVID-19 was the reason behind the growth, despite the shoes Jill was wearing that night.
