Adam told FEMAIL that it took him an hour to collect the wood and another hour and a half to divide it into 100 bags.

“I got the idea when my mother was buying bags of wood and knew I could do the same when winter came,” he said.

The bags started at $25 each, but Adam quickly realized they were too expensive.

An hour later one customer bought two bags and another bought three. In just one week he has sold 70 bags.

Adam’s efforts prove that you don’t have to start a business, spend thousands of dollars, or put in a lot of time to make some extra money.

“I was surprised at how quickly it became successful. I will continue my series on TikTok and compare how well each of my side jobs perform,” Adam said.

This isn’t the first side hustle Adam has tried: he used to sell honey locally and earned $3,360.

“(Selling honey) was pretty successful, so I thought I’d start trying other side hustles and film the process to hopefully inspire younger kids,” he said.

He also began collecting and reselling golf balls from a golf club.

“My main advice (to others) would be to just try it, because you don’t know if it will work unless you try it,” Adam said.

‘Look at what things are in fashion and in season. I’m not going to sell firewood in the summer, but it’s perfect for the winter. Also identify your skills and interests as you will be more motivated to do so.’
