At 152 years old, the Open Championship, also known as the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world and the sport’s top athletes are gathering in Scotland this week to take part in the tournament at the Royal Troon Golf Club.

American Brian Harman is the reigning Open champion, and this year, Masters winner Scottie Scheffler, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are among the other 156 players vying to win the coveted Claret Jug (and a prize pool of more than $3 million). Whether you want to watch all the early-morning action on Peacock and USA, which cover the tournament’s earliest tee times, or catch up on NBC’s main coverage over the weekend, there are plenty of ways to watch the Open on TV and streaming.

While most of the tournament’s biggest moments will air on NBC and USA, the first two rounds of the tournament will air on Peacock beginning just before the tournament’s first tee time, which is 1:35 a.m. ET on Thursday, July 18. (That’s 6:35 a.m. Thursday local time in Scotland.) The final three golfers of the tournament will air at 11:27 a.m. ET.

Peacock will livestream all four days of the tournament and will also show a highlight stream highlighting the iconic par-3 8th hole ‘Postage Stamp’ throughout the week.

If you’ve cut the cord but don’t have a Peacock subscription, NBC and USA are also available with subscriptions to Hulu with Live TV, Fubo, and DirecTV.

This year is the tenth time that the Open is played at the Royal Troon Golf ClubHistoric and scenic, there is one feature of Royal Troon that sets it apart from other courses, and that is that the course’s eighth hole has earned the nickname “the postage stamp.” The 123-yard par-three hole is called “the shortest hole in Open Championship golf,” according to Royal Troon, but despite its short length, it is considered one of the most treacherous holes in the sport thanks to its small putting green flanked by bunkers. The hole earned its nickname after Scottish golfer William Park referred to it as having “a putting surface the size of a postage stamp.”
