They’ve gained a cult following in recent years thanks to their comfortable design and bold colors.

But now it looks like the Adidas Gazelles are firmly on their way back. outside of fashion.

These suede shoes were the first sneakers released by the German company in 1966 and were made famous by Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

Following the resurgence of Adidas’ Superstars and Stan Smith designs, the Gazelles’ popularity among Generation Z and millennials has skyrocketed in recent years.

However, stylist Lisa Talbot has realized the trainer’s reign is coming to an end – and mummy bloggers and Labor leader Keir Starmer may be to blame.

Speaking to FEMAIL, the expert explained: ‘The Adidas Gazelles have become popular thanks to their collection of colors.

“They have moved us away from the white sneakers that have been around for a few years and add a touch of color to outfits while maintaining the comfort of sneakers.”

That being said, the stylist says their sudden rise in popularity and how they have been adopted as a “school uniform” has “killed” the trend.

The stylist continued: ‘I think in some cases they have been considered unfashionable because we see them worn by so many women.

“Although they were imaginative and inspiring, they have almost become a bit boring now.”

That said, the expert said there is still a way to look “cool” wearing Gazelles.

Lisa added: “Pairing them with trendy pieces such as wide-leg trousers, denim shorts, dresses and linen trousers will ensure the look stays on-trend.”

Alternatively, the stylist recommended other flat shoes that look more “modern.”
