Olympic fans have been thrown into a social media frenzy after a picture of a French diver’s particularly tight swimsuit went viral.
Home favourite Jules Bouyer is hoping to win a gold medal in Paris when he competes in the men’s 3m synchronised springboard final on Friday.
The 22-year-old from Annecy, France, will dive alongside teammate Alexis Jandard, who has also attracted plenty of attention for his appearance since the opening ceremony.
Bouyer will also compete in the individual 3-meter springboard event next week and is working hard in practice to finalize her dives for the competition.
But a picture of him showering by the pool took the internet by storm after fans were left speechless by one particular snap.

This sent fans on social media into a frenzy, with one commenting that it was “the only reason I love the Olympics.”
Another added: “I really hope his speedo gets paid time and a half.”
A third fan wrote: “It fits the swimsuit very well.”
“Those Speedos are working overtime right now,” a fourth joked.
Another satisfied fan simply wrote that the Frenchman was “perfect.”

Fortunately, Bouyer did not suffer the same embarrassing X-rated wardrobe malfunction that a performer did during last week’s opening ceremony.
During the opening ceremony, as one user points out on XOne of the performers’ testicles appeared to be hanging out of his underwear as cameras focused on the boat.
It looked as if the actor’s shorts had ridden up his leg, causing the embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
Bouyer started diving at the age of six and joined the French senior team’s training camp in 2020.
He won the European Junior and World Junior titles in 2021 before qualifying for a spot at the Olympic Games on home soil in Paris.
