Former Spandau Ballet singer Ross William Wild raped three women and filmed himself sexually abusing his victims while they slept, a court heard.

Jurors were told that Wild, whose real name is Ross Davidson, was “very handsome” but had a “darker” and “sinister” side and had fantasies of having sex with women while they slept.

The opening of the trial against the 36-year-old Scot began on Tuesday at Wood Green Crown Court in London, where he is accused of a series of sexual offenses against five women and of raping three of them over a decade between 2013 and 2023.

He faces new charges of voyeurism, intimidation and controlling behavior, according to reports Sun.

The court heard Wild told a woman accused of rape that he liked the idea of ​​having sex with a mannequin or doll.

Wild is alleged to have filmed himself raping the first woman at his flat in Finchley, north London, in October 2013, after rowing.

Prosecutor Richard Hearden told the court that another woman told police she did not know he had filmed himself fondling her breasts.

And another attack allegedly occurred in Cannes, France, in May 2018, where the musician had attended the film festival.

Hearden described the incident as “bizarre and perverted” as she told the court Wild fondled the woman’s breasts while she slept.

He is accused of raping a fourth woman in his home and filming a sexual act without her consent, who said Wild treated her like a “sex slave.”

After being raped, she went to his bathroom, where she called her mother and whispered that she had been hurt, the court was told.

Hearnden said: “The defendant, if these things are true, was an absolutely manipulative and sadistic individual.”

“I was being used as a kind of sex slave. I wanted to have sex five or six times a night.

“When she said it was too much, he forced her to have sex with him.”

A fifth woman came to stay at his house in 2015 after meeting the star three years earlier on dating site Plenty of Fish, the court heard.

Hearden said she woke up in her bed to find Wild having sex with her while she slept.

Wild replaced Tony Hadley as the 1980s band’s singer in 2018 after a successful West End run that included stints in We Will Rock You and Million Dollar Quartet.

He was fired 11 months after joining the band.

Wild was arrested by officers at his home on March 30, 2021, and was questioned about one of the alleged rapes, two of the sexual assaults, and the videos.

But he denied the accusations and said that “everything was consensual between him and the women involved.”

He denies three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, one count of voyeurism, one count of intimidation and one count of controlling behaviour.
