Two children have been found dead inside a home in western Sydney.
The bodies were reportedly found at a home in Faulconbridge in the New South Wales Blue Mountains on Tuesday as a major police operation got underway.
The two boys are believed to be aged nine and 11, and their 42-year-old mother is being taken to Westmead Hospital with cuts to her wrists.
Emergency crews were called to the property at around 12.40pm.
At this time police believe there is no ongoing threat to the community.
New South Wales Police said they have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances of the deaths.
