Farmer Shaun Wayne Taylor admits having sex with his cattle after applying for bail so he could 'look after his animals'

A farmer admitted to having sexual relations with one of his animals.

Shaun Wayne Taylor, 49, pleaded guilty to committing one count of bestiality at his property in Lowan Vale, near Bordertown in South Australia, on September 8 last year. The messenger reported.

It has not been reported what type of animal he had sexual relations with.

Taylor was arrested on December 22 last year after police searched one of his electronic devices as part of a separate investigation.

In February, the farmer asked the court to relax his bail conditions so he could “take care of his animals.”

However, Magistrate Koula Kossiavelos rejected Taylor’s request because she was not comfortable with him returning to the farm due to “the origin of the offence”.

The magistrate suggested that he employ laborers to look after his cattle.

Taylor’s next court appearance is in October.
