Elle Macpherson may be 60 years old, but she often surprises her fans with her age-defying looks that make her look decades younger.

The Australian supermodel proudly showed off the figure that made her famous in an Instagram post on Monday.

Posing in a pair of tiny black bikini briefs paired with a long-sleeved crop top, she worked her angles, showing off her taut midriff and endless legs.

Elle added a hat and sunglasses to the casual look, as well as a gold belly chain, while going barefoot.

The beauty was aboard a yacht, enjoying a beautiful sunset while taking some photos.

In the long caption accompanying the post, Elle revealed part of her beauty philosophy.

“When it comes to beauty, I’ve always believed that when you feel good on the inside, it shows on your skin,” she wrote.

‘Like anyone, I’ve experienced both sides of this coin, so when I’m not feeling well, I often have dry, irritated skin.

“It’s a clever and poignant signal from my body to look within. I am constantly in awe of nature’s miraculous design.

‘Healthy, radiant skin is both a reflection of your spirit and the supreme intelligence of the natural world expressing itself through you.’

Elle has previously attributed her ageless beauty to proper nutrition and supplementation with natural vitamins.

She recently shared an old interview of hers on NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today talking about her diet and how perfect she looks in her fifties.

“When I turned 50 I didn’t feel very well or look very good,” she told Elle.

‘I noticed my skin, my hair and my weight… I just didn’t feel inspired, I had sugar cravings and poor digestion.’

She continued: ‘So, I went to my nutritionist and said, listen, something’s wrong, I need to address my lifestyle.

‘She said I was taking too many synthetic vitamins, so she put me on a powerful multivitamin, prebiotic and probiotic powder.

‘So I started taking it because I was a bit malnourished, I wasn’t sleeping much, I wasn’t eating enough fruit and vegetables and I was drinking too much coffee.’

The supermodel said that after following this new nutrition plan for a month and taking this natural multivitamin, her life was “transformed.”

‘I saw a huge change and my friend, who is now my CEO, was like, ‘What are you doing? Do you look amazing?’ and I told her I was taking this green powder and it had changed my life.’

Elle’s dramatic transformation led her to start her own natural supplement business and wellness empire, WellCo.

She previously joined Amanda Wakeley on her podcast DNA of styleElle revealed her tips for getting a good night’s sleep after realizing the importance of getting 8 hours of sleep.

She said she doesn’t have a set schedule when it comes to exercise and prefers to “go with the flow” and swears by regular sessions in her infrared sauna as well as a cold bath to “reset”.

She said: “I go to bed with a smile. I go to bed with a happy heart. And with a mask. Without clothes. My skin.”

The model also explained that she avoids caffeine, eats her last meal at 5 p.m. and relaxes with a hot chocolate before falling asleep.

With the nickname ‘The Body’, it’s no surprise that Elle’s daily routine focuses on health and wellness.

When the alarm clock goes off at 5am the first thing Elle does is “smile”, which coincidentally is also the last thing she does before going to bed.

After smiling and drinking a glass of lemon water, she spends 25 minutes of her morning meditating in bed, to take care of her “mind, body and spirit,” before hopping on her bike and pedaling to the beach for a 6:30 a.m. swim.

If time is tight, Elle stays closer to home, explaining, “I get outside and get my feet on the ground. I’ll do some yoga in the morning sun or do Dr. Zach’s four-minute nitric oxide workout.

‘Sometimes I’ll take a cold dip afterwards and then drink matcha in the sun before getting ready for the day.’

The mother of two always chooses to exercise outdoors and in nature by hiking, biking, swimming or “just sitting outside in the fresh air and sunshine.”

She then adds a collagen elixir to her morning smoothie and takes protein supplements and gut support to help with her nutrition.

A “big believer in energy healing,” Elle revealed she books regular appointments for acupuncture, chiropractic, breathwork and sound healing, as well as Russian Banyas, an ancient tradition of steam baths using a wood-burning stove burning dried tree branches or herbs called veniks.

Elle follows a plant-based diet and prefers home-cooked meals made “with love,” so her lunch will be prepared with organic, locally grown vegetables, hand-picked from the local farmers market.

An “essential” part of Elle’s day to beat the 3pm blues is performing an East Asian tea ceremony. Her favourites are Rooibos tea with vanilla and Earl Grey.

To “be in (her) best shape,” the age-defying model takes a variety of supplements and elixirs from her own wellness brand, WelleCo.

She said she takes care of her skin and body by juicing up to four times a day, dry brushing her body and following a $1,400 skin-care routine from Dr. Barbara Sturm.

Elle uses a dry body brush up to three times a week “to stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage, cleanse my system of toxins, and exfoliate my body for soft, smooth skin.”

To unwind in the evening, Elle likes to relax in the sauna again and then take a dip in cold water, which she says is “great for detoxing, boosting the immune system, supporting the lymphatic system and relaxing.”

One of her favorite weeknight dinners is miso soup with mushrooms and Japanese sweet potato.

Her nightly ritual consists of drinking a cup of WelleCo calming tea and the last thing she does before bed is, of course: “Smile. I put my hands on my solar plexus, think about what I am grateful for that day and let myself drift off into a peaceful sleep.”
