A tourist was dragged off a Jet2 flight in handcuffs and with a seat belt tied around his legs after allegedly attacking crew members and passengers.

The flight, which had left Glasgow shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday bound for Tenerife, had to be diverted to Ireland in order to remove the passenger.

His wrists were handcuffed behind his back and his legs seemed to be tied with an airplane seat belt.

The passengers made a brief stop at Shannon Airport so the disruptive passenger could be removed from the flight.
