Dave Grohl has previously admitted to cheating on his first wife Jennifer Leigh Youngblood as the star struggles to save his second marriage after fathering a secret love child.
The Foo Fighters singer, 55, who has been married to Jordyn Blum, 48, since 2003, shocked fans on Tuesday when he admitted to welcoming a baby girl out of wedlock in a shocking post.
The statement read: “I recently became the father of a new daughter, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving and understanding father to her.
“I love my wife and children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We appreciate your consideration for all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Grohl divorced Youngblood in 1997 after admitting infidelities during their three-year marriage, according to The Guardian.

He married the photographer in 1994 (when the Foo Fighters debuted), but they separated in 1996.
After his marriage ended, Grohl reportedly began dating Louise Post of the band Veruca Salt.
The romance ended when, during a show in Australia in 1997, Post drunkenly claimed that Grohl had cheated on her with Winona Ryder.
In 2006 he said: “I didn’t want this to happen. We’re friends now.”
Grohl has denied having any relationship with Ryder.
Grohl’s split from Youngblood caused problems within the band: guitarist Pat Smear, who was a friend of Youngblood’s, sided with her and left the band for eight years.
Grohl said of the union: ‘I was 25, my wife was even younger. We weren’t ready to get married. I miss her so much, she’s the weirdest, funniest person you’ve ever met in your life.
“Absolutely adorable. It would have been better if we hadn’t gotten married. But you live and you learn.”
The couple has three daughters: Violet, Harper and Ophelia. They are expected to arrive in 2023.

News of his recent infidelity comes after he was spotted with Blum at Wimbledon in July.
Grohl hinted that the song Everlong was inspired by Youngblood, saying: ‘I was breaking up with a girl I’d been with for a while, so I was in the middle of an intense emotional period. And for some reason, the emotion or the feeling I had when I played this succession of chords would tap into that emotion.
‘So because of the emotional place I was in, I started writing the lyrics for this song and it comes from a real place.’
Foo Fighters’ first single, This Is A Call, was written during the couple’s honeymoon in 1994 in Dublin, Ireland.
Youngblood captured the cover of Foo Fighters’ first album, which is a “nod to sci-fi adventure hero Buck Rogers and his XZ-38 blaster pistol.”
In 1996, Dave appeared alongside Jennifer in an episode of The X Files from season 3, episode 17.
Grohl and Blum, 48, met in 2001 and have been married since 2003, sharing three daughters: Violet, Harper and Ophelia.
The rock star, who has often been described as a “family man,” has spoken about the importance of his family in interviews over the years.
The couple are parents to Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.
The couple first met at the Sunset Marquis Whiskey Bar in West Hollywood, California, in 2001 and married at their Los Angeles home on August 2, 2003.

Recounting their first meeting in a 2007 interview with GQ – and in a chilling premonition – Grohl told Jordyn she was his “future ex-wife” as they chatted.
He said: ‘Taylor (Hawkins) and I were hanging out at the Sunset Marquis whiskey bar. Taylor was the best looking. I mean, girls were sending him drinks. A bombshell walks up and starts talking to Taylor.
‘I had just come from a Tenacious D shoot. I had on Vans, no socks, dirty shorts and a dirty T-shirt, and I was surrounded by the beautiful city of Hollywood. She motioned for her friend Jordyn to come over. I was like, ‘Oh my God. No way!’ So I just had a few drinks and acted like a jerk.
And at the end of the night I was pissed off and I looked at her and I said, “You’re my future ex-wife.” Then she gave me her number: “Jordyn, your future ex-wife.”
‘We saw each other a few times, but I realized that was the flag, the finish line, and I thought, “Wait a minute.” So I backed off.
Grohl told Elle in 2007 that he stopped calling Blum after a few dates.
He shared: ‘After three months, I had an epiphany and called her again. She picked up the phone and said, ‘Oh, I never thought I’d hear from you again.’
While little is known publicly about Blum, People reported that she once appeared on the cover of Teen, after being discovered in a supermarket when she was 12 years old.
Blum is said to have been working as a producer at MTV when she met the frontman.
Blum has collaborated with Foo Fighters several times, including on the band’s 2002 video for White Limo, where he made a cameo appearance.
He also co-directed Foo Fighters’ 2002 music video for Walking a Line.
In a January 2008 interview with GQ, Grohl revealed that the song Statues from his band’s sixth studio album, Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, was inspired by him and his wife.
He said: “For me there is nothing more beautiful than seeing the tombstones of a husband and wife side by side in a cemetery.”
The ballad Burn Away was also written with Jordyn in mind and Grohl said: ‘I was in love with my future wife and I had a romantic prom ballad. Ugh! We would never play that damn thing live.
During an August 2018 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Grohl revealed that Blum was rushed to the hospital with appendicitis.
He said: “It’s true. I got a text from her, I’m not feeling too well. Then when I finished, I walked off stage and she was like, ‘I’m going to the hospital to get my appendix out.'”
“I ran and arrived on time. It’s great.”
