A man was rushed to hospital with bite wounds after being attacked by a shark near Coral Bay, 1,200 kilometres north of Perth, Western Australia, on Monday.
Ambulance services were rushed to Fourteen Mile Beach, 40 kilometres south of Coral Bay, to find the victim in a stable condition after the beating.
The species of shark involved in the attack is not yet known.
