Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is confident Spain will beat England in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final.
The Irishman is so sure that Gareth Southgate’s men will fall short against La Roja that he has placed two bets on the match.
According to McGregor himself, he has placed a €100,000 (£86,000) bet that the correct result will be 3-1 in Spain’s favour, as well as an even bigger bet on Spain winning whatever the result.
If both bets win, McGregor, who turns 36 on Sunday, could win €3.7m (£3.18m) including his original stakes.
McGregor, who is an ambassador for the Duelbits betting brand, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday to promote his bets.

Conor McGregor has confidently predicted a three-goal-to-one victory for Spain.
He posted two tweets in total, after the first one included a typo.
McGregor’s initial tweet read: ‘Hey guys, Spain are going to win 3-1 tomorrow. I’ve bet €100,000 at incredible odds of 19/1.
‘This result will earn me 2 million euros in cash, on top of the 1.1 million I’ll get for their victory! 3.1 million euros in total! The match is on my birthday! Tomorrow! Good luck and YOU’RE WELCOME!’
Twelve minutes later, McGregor added: ‘My baddies, @Duelbits just reached out to me! They really have the best odds ever!’
‘The odds of that result coming out as “3-1 Spain” are not 19/1, but 25-1!
‘This means that my €100,000 return will be €2.6 million! Tomorrow I will receive €3.7 million for my birthday! THE RICH ARE GETTING RICHER, GET EXCITED!’

Spain will go into the final as clear favourites after having shown themselves to be much more confident than England throughout the tournament.
La Roja have scored 13 goals at Euro 2024 so far, compared to England’s seven.
Meanwhile, Spain have kept three clean sheets, compared to England’s two.
