CM Punk detailed the last time he saw Vince McMahon and condemned the former WWE CEO for the sex trafficking allegations against him.
Nearly a decade after his acrimonious departure from the company, Punk made a sensational return to WWE at Survivor Series in November.
Talking about the MMA timeThe former UFC fighter revealed that he had a brief interaction with McMahon in the WWE headquarters gym while finalizing the deal for his return.
“I saw (Vince) in the towers,” Punk said. He was talking on the phone on a treadmill warming up.
And Vince’s trainer said, “Hey, you’ve got to get off the phone. And Vince doesn’t like it when people are on the phone and you’re in the gym.”

The former AEW star shocked the wrestling world when he returned to WWE nearly a decade after his acrimonious departure from the company.

In January, a former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filed a lawsuit against McMahon in which she claimed she suffered bruising and bleeding after he forcibly penetrated her with sex toys, which he had named after his wrestlers. .
Days later, the 78-year-old resigned from his position at the company he founded and from his position as CEO of TKO Group Holdings, although he denied all allegations against him and called the lawsuit “a vindictive distortion of the truth.”
When asked by MMA Hour host Ariel Helwani for his thoughts on the situation, Punk called the allegations against his former employer “indefensible.”
‘I mean, there’s nothing positive there. I didn’t read all the accusations, I read the text messages and said, “Oh, fuck this.” It is indefensible.
Punk also shared his opinion on the ongoing sex trafficking allegations against McMahon.
‘By doing this, I imagined they were going to ask me about it, I know the easiest thing to do is avoid it, but it is there.
“I’m a little surprised at how stupid I was, writing things down and leaving that paper trail, it’s horrible.
“At this point, all energy must be used, there are victims here, so what CM Punk thinks about Vince and the CM Punk/Vince relationship means nothing here, all those things take a backseat I think.” What worries me most is, in the future, how those people will survive through that trauma.”
