Chelsea Handler has joined the drama surrounding JD Vance’s resurfaced comments.

Handler, in the middle of her Las Vegas residency, took Instagram to issue his own response, after Vance told Tucker Carlson that the United States, Through the Democrats were being targeted For a group of childless cat ladies who are miserable with their own lives..

“It’s a basic fact,” Vance told Carlson in 2021, sparking a late-stage firestorm in which celebrities like Jennifer Aniston weighed in. “If you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC, the entire future of Democrats is controlled by people without children.”

On Sunday, Handler came to Harris’ defense, pointing out that figures like George Washington had no biological children and only stepchildren, like the vice president.

He also reminded viewers of the obvious fact that no sitting president in history has ever been a mother anyway, and used that to suggest that Vance’s point was moot.

“But maybe if she had had five children with three different men, and a scandalous affair with a porn star and had been convicted of a felon, that would be more palatable to Republican men,” he added sarcastically, referencing Vance’s running mate Donald Trump.

“My God, we are so tired,” he continued, feigning exasperation.

‘You sad Diet Mountain Dew drinking, dolphin porn loving, couch potato fucker.’

Aside from referencing recent headlines surrounding the junior senator, Handler’s response was sarcastic and succinct.

She started by introducing him as “the future star of his own episode of Dateline,” one that’s causing quite a stir this week.

In response to the now-viral clip, former Lately host Chelsea, 49, proceeded to speak directly to Vance, 39.

“Listen, you crazy elegy, this country is still controlled by men and by systems that were set up by men and that are carefully designed to continue to benefit men,” she said.

‘So to put it in terms of hating women, you understand that you are being hysterical.

“But let’s be clear,” he continued, “there is no correlation between childlessness and the presidency.

Handler, in the midst of her Las Vegas residency, pointed out how presidents like George Washington did not have biological children in her own response.

‘For example, our first president of the United States, Mr. George Washington, did not have children.

“I actually had two stepchildren,” he said.

“That’s right, just like someone else I know,” she added, as the video cut to a photo of Harris, her husband Doug Emhoff and their adult children.

“And to your point about Kamala being unfit because she’s not a mother,” he continued, putting emphasis and air quotes around the word “mother,” “I’d like to remind you that no president in the history of the United States has ever been one.”

“All of us childless women with cats and dogs are going to go from being childless and sweeping everything off our feet to being childless and sweeping you off your feet in November,” Handler finished before offering a parting comment that referenced the recent controversy surrounding the senator and claims that he had sex with a couch.

“And before you tell me she didn’t actually get on a couch, I’m sorry,” Handler said.

‘I grew up in New Jersey in the ’80s, where everyone had a couch in their basement, and I know a motherfucker when I see one.’

The clip ended there and has since racked up nearly 200,000 likes.

The response shows how much attention the controversy is getting, less than two weeks after Trump, 78, named Vance as his running mate at the Republican National Convention.

A series of headlines have since surfaced surrounding the senator, including one in which he casually told the former Fox News host that childless women have no “direct stake” in America’s future and are “miserable… for their choices.”

On Saturday, Aniston, 55, said: ‘Mr Vance, I pray that your daughter is lucky enough to have children of her own one day.

“I hope she doesn’t have to resort to IVF as a second option, because you’re trying to take that away from her, too.”

In response, Vance, who has three children with his wife Usha Chilukuri Vance, said: “That’s disgusting, because my daughter is 2 years old.”

Aniston wasn’t the only person affected by Vance’s comments; people across the country responded on numerous social media platforms.

“My cats and I are MORE than ready to do everything we can to elect President Kamala Harris! #YesWeKam,” one supporter wrote.

Ella Emhoff, the vice president’s stepdaughter, also responded on Instagram, writing, “How can you not have kids when you have such adorable kids like Cole and I,” referring to her brother and Harris’ stepson, Cole.

Harris’s biological mother, Kerstin, also came to his aid.

Ohio’s junior senator and his wife Usha Chilukuri Vance attended the Republican National Convention earlier this month. In his remarks three years ago, he singled out Harris, Pete Buttigieg and AOC.

“These are baseless attacks,” he wrote in his own post.

‘For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has co-parented with Doug and me.

“She is loving, protective and always there. I love our blended family and am grateful to have her in it.”

Meanwhile, SpaceX and Tesla boss Elon Musk recently came to Vance’s defense, accusing Vice President Harris of wanting to see the human race become extinct.

“Shamala is an extinctionist,” Musk wrote in reference to a tweet from Vance that shared a clip of Harris saying young people have anxiety about the climate crisis.

“The natural extension of his philosophy would be a de facto holocaust of all humanity,” Musk said.

“I’ve heard young leaders talk to me about a term that they’ve coined themselves called climate anxiety, right?” Harris said in the resurfaced video, as politicians and celebrities continue to choose sides in this bizarre debacle.

Several other personalities have since taken to social media to defend the vice president. She is seen delivering remarks at a campaign event in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, on Saturday.

“It’s the fear of the future and the unknown, of whether it makes sense to even think about having children.”

Vance voted against the Democrat-led IVF Rights Act last month, though he did support a GOP-sponsored bill, the IVF Protection Act, that would strip states of Medicaid funding if they banned IVF treatments.

During a Q&A with Kelly over the weekend, Vance explained that he was in favor of IVF within reason, and many conservative pundits and commentators like Ben Shapiro began to voice their concerns about the GOP vice president’s pick.

“I think we have to protect the right of Christian hospitals to operate as they wish,” he said. “But of course that is entirely consistent with promoting fertility treatments for parents who need them.”

Meanwhile, on the latest episode of his eponymous show, Shapiro joined the many who have jumped on the bandwagon of criticizing the senator amid the outrage the resurfaced interview has incited.

“I think he probably would have picked someone like Glenn Youngkin of Virginia in an attempt to broaden his base,” he said, referring to Republican candidate Trump.

“Instead, he went with JD Vance, feeling that, as he was right at the time, he had a very solid lead in the race against Joe Biden.”

Harris, who has not yet been confirmed as the Democratic nominee, has yet to name a running mate.
