Three people have been rushed to hospital following a bus crash which closed a section of the Bruce Highway north of Gympie.

Three people have been rushed to hospital following a bus crash which closed a section of the Bruce Highway north of Gympie.

Police said the Brisbane-bound Greyhound bus was carrying about 20 people and traveling at 100km/h when it crashed into a barrier early Monday morning.

A man in his 20s suffered leg injuries, a man in his 40s injured his arm and a woman in her 20s suffered chest pain. All three were taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
