Brittany Higgins shares her grief after the death of a close family member

Brittany Higgins is mourning the death of her grandmother just weeks after announcing she was pregnant with her first child.

Ms Higgins, who now lives in France, took to Instagram on Thursday evening to announce the heartbreaking news.

“I’m processing the loss of the strongest woman I’ve ever known. I love you and miss you already grandma x,” she wrote alongside a series of photographs.

Her mother, Kelly, added: She loved you and was so proud of you.

“It was so special that she was able to celebrate your wedding and be excited about the news of your great-grandson. She was an extraordinary woman who taught us truth and strength. I love you, beautiful.”
