A former biker boss has hit out at Victoria Police after claiming 30 officers shut down his lavish rooftop party.
Former Mongols boss Toby Mitchell hosted a party at the posh Cullen Hotel in Melbourne’s wealthy Prahran district that included booze, an exotic dancer and a photo that revealed traces of an unknown white powder.
Throughout the evening, Mitchell frequently shared content from the evening, which was held in honour of motorcycle advocate Mark Balsillie’s birthday following his recent appointment as national president of the Finks.
In a photo taken from the luxurious penthouse, Mitchell, 51, shared a picture of an iconic piece of art inside the boutique hotel, which is named after the late Australian artist, Adam Cullen.
The photograph sparked online commentary after eagle-eyed viewers spotted traces of a mysterious white powder on the corner of a stainless steel bench next to a bank card.
Daily Mail Australia does not suggest the powder was illegal.
Balsillie’s birthday entertainment also included a performance by a drag queen dancing to the disco anthem ‘Dirty Talk’.
“It’s a different world now – bikers hire men to entertain them instead of women… what the fuck!” one commenter posted on social media on a photo from the event.

Mitchell said 30 officers swarmed the hotel and locked it down due to numbers restrictions.
Traces of a suspicious white powder shared on Mitchell’s Instagram Stories
Later that night, Mitchell took to Instagram to post photos of police breaking up her party, claiming that 30 officers arrived at her door to shut down the event.
“And because of last night’s drama, 30 cops showed up with the penthouse reserved and said we could have 70 people there, no time restrictions, no nothing after 11 o’clock,” he posted.
‘The police came to the door and said that only four people were allowed in the room.’
He said he had email receipts confirming the hotel’s 70-guest limit.
Victoria Police confirmed they had responded to the penthouse after receiving a complaint about loud music.
“Police responded to reports of a noise complaint in Prahran on September 21,” a police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Officers attended a hotel on Commercial Road at around 1am. The occupants were asked to vacate the room and left after speaking to police.’
Mitchell is no stranger to making headlines. In January, a photo of him alongside AFL glamour couple Chris and Bec Judd at the Australian Open went viral.
Toby Mitchell lashed out at the hotel in a social media rant
Toby Mitchell was pictured at the Australian Open tennis tournament in January, sitting in courtside seats alongside Bec and Chris Judd.
In the photo shared on Instagram, Chris Judd can be seen smiling for the camera as he sits next to Mitchell, who shared the snapshot with his more than 300,000 followers.
However, his wife Bec ignored the camera and was photographed looking at her phone.
The photo generated a lot of media attention after Mitchell, who now works as an influencer, shared it.
She later defended the photo, saying there was nothing awkward about the encounter.
“Just to let everyone know there was nothing awkward, just four people enjoying some tennis,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
