Joe Biden playfully bites baby while trick-or-treating at White House

President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden welcomed hundreds of cute treats for their final Halloween at the White House on Thursday night.

The first lady dressed up as a panda bear for the occasion and the president sprung into action, biting a child dressed as a chicken.

He feigned fear in front of tigers and scary-looking aliens. Bit the foot of a second baby. He looked down the throat of a T-Rex.

He kissed a ghost. Bit a third baby. He was surprised to see a giant chicken.

Hallo-read was the theme of the evening in a nod to the first lady’s teaching profession. She handed out copies of the children’s book ’10 Spooky Pumpkins’ while the president handed out candy with the White House seal and his signature.

In addition to the local students and military-connected children who received their gifts from the first couple, several administrative staff members brought their children to one last fright party at the White House.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken brought his children to have fun. OMB Director Sholanda Young, who received a big hug from the president, brought her daughter.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also brought her daughter.

The president also took time to pet his aide Ashley Williams’ baby. The baby was in the arms of his former employee and current deputy director of personnel, Annie Tomasini.

The president chatted happily with the children as he handed out the candy, sometimes making a long line of children crowded together waiting for him.

A little boy dressed as Spiderman danced to pass the time. An Air Force band played spooky music that fit the theme.

At one point, the first lady removed her panda head, but continued handing out books as the line continued. He had joined the National Zoo earlier this year to announce the arrival of a pair of pandas.

The first couple spent about an hour outside handing out candy.

Games were set up on the south lawn and several government agencies had booths handing out candy.

The Beast was parked at the end of the driveway to take pictures.

Darth Vader and two Storm Troops, unarmed, were available for selfies as was Disney’s Lilo and Stitch.

The south lawn was filled with pumpkins, corn, hay bales and other fall-themed decorations.

The stairs leading to the South Porch were also decorated with several pumpkins and similar paraphernalia, along with two large lanterns and a trellis made of books.

Earlier in the day, the first lady read a story about spooky pumpkins to a group of costumed children gathered on the lawn.
