Taylor Swift’s concerts in Sydney have been a star-gazing spectacle.
The likes of Rita Ora, Katy Perry, Rebel Wilson and Toni Collette have been spotted in the crowd at Accor Stadium this weekend.
But the presence of famous faces and their children has upset some Taylor Swift fans.
Radio host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli, radio star Fifi Box and former The Project star Carrie Bickmore shared footage of their young children falling asleep in their arms at the monster three-hour concerts, much to the ire of Swifties.
Many were angry because the tickets went to the celebrities’ young children who couldn’t enjoy the full show while fans missed out.

‘How nice, but all these little kids with tickets and falling asleep are killing me!’ one person wrote on Facebook.
“The hardest concert in the world to get tickets for too and a lot of fans are missing out on getting the kids to sleep. I bet if it was a PG-12 event, a lot more fans would be there.”
‘I agree with you, there were people with tired children giving out their tickets for the last half of the concert when we sat outside to listen. Lovely, kind people, they embody the Swiftie thing,” said another.
‘We had four next to us sleeping soundly for half the show in Melbourne. Take them home and put them to bed if they are not strong,’ he added.
Many were angry because the tickets went to the celebrities’ young children who couldn’t enjoy the full show while fans missed out. But others saw no problem.
‘Literally, why you shouldn’t take children under 10 to concerts. I really think there should be an age limit for shows when they are sold out,” said another.
“Many people would have paid double to go or would have liked to attend, but many families leave halfway with tired and excited children,” one more agreed.
Others disagreed, with one person saying, “If the parents pay, the kids deserve to be there.” Most fall asleep at the end and have enjoyed everything before. You do not like? Try harder to get tickets next time.”
‘The number of people who think that children attending school falling asleep is a waste of a ticket is beyond me. It is still a unique experience for them,” said one more.
“They’ll remember going to this concert with their mom/dad/friends forever…just because they’re little and fall asleep doesn’t mean it’s a waste.”
“Hardest concert in the world to get tickets too and so many fans are missing out so the kids can sleep, I bet if it was an PG-12 event a lot more fans would be there,” said one.
