A man and a woman have been found dead in a home in a suspected murder-suicide.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 70s were found with gunshot wounds on Jambaroo Street in Albany Creek, north of Brisbane, at 5.30pm on Sunday.
“The crime scene remains at the property and investigations into the circumstances of their deaths are ongoing,” a Queensland Police spokesperson said.
“Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the vicinity of Jambaroo Street before 5.30pm to come forward.
“There is no threat to the community.”

The couple knew each other.
A neighbor said the man and woman had been long-time residents of the street.
“They’ve been here as long as I have, at least 20 years,” he said.
‘I always walk past the house, but I have never spoken to them, there is always someone in front.
“You’re always yelling at each other.”
The house had been fenced off and the neighbor described it as strange.
“There’s always trash everywhere,” he said.
“The air conditioning is always running and there are aluminum sheets on the windows.”
