A disturbing bumper sticker has been found on a car that hit and killed a pedestrian in a horrific overnight crash.

A 38-year-old man was allegedly hit by a Ford Falcon at the intersection of Preddys Road and John Street in Bexley, south of Sydney, at 10.40pm on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old driver with the red P license plate allegedly drove around the block before returning to the location where he was arrested.

His blue Ford Falcon with the rear bumper sticker was found on nearby Downey Street and was impounded by police.

“I drive like a crazy man,” the bumper sticker said.

The front windshield was completely shattered while it was being towed.

The 17-year-old suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to St George’s Hospital, where he will undergo mandatory tests.

Bystanders frantically performed CPR on the pedestrian before paramedics arrived at the scene.

The injured man could not be saved.

An investigation has been launched into the crash and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The victim has not yet been identified and a report will be prepared for the medical examiner.
