The implant passed through Mr. Yilmaz’s jaw and into the area behind the eye where the brain and cerebrospinal fluid are located.
But during the surgery, the dentist tried to force one of the implants into place but allegedly ended up drilling a hole in Mr. Yilmaz’s jaw.
Speaking to local media, Mr Yilmaz said: “After feeling discomfort in my teeth, I went to a private dental clinic in Nilüfer.
‘After examinations there, I was informed that my bone structure was delicate, my teeth were loose and that it was advisable to undergo an implant procedure.
‘The doctor claimed to have 24 years of experience in this field and assured us of his experience.
‘So we entrusted him with the procedure.
‘Later, while I was having my teeth pulled and having the implant procedure carried out on the same day, he informed his secretary that the device he was using was faulty.
‘He then proceeded to perform the procedure manually.

‘I pointed this out to him and mentioned that I heard a bone crunching sound.
‘However, he assured me that it was normal.
“But as I continued to force the screw, it went through my jaw and into the area behind the eye where the brain and cerebrospinal fluid are located.”
The screw reached his skull, making him scream in agony.
