A mother-of-two who was caught on CCTV having sex with a man on the street after a night of drinking has been fined £120.
Nicola Ellis, 37, was arrested after she was seen engaging in sexual acts with her male partner as motorists drove past them at 1am.
The lusty couple were followed by CCTV operators in Chester city centre as they walked down Bath Street, which is known for its Victorian public baths and cottages designed by the Duke of Westminster’s family’s favourite architect.
Police were alerted when Ellis was seen performing a sexual act on the man, after which he “reciprocated.”
Later, when questioned, Ellis – from Moreton in Wirral, Merseyside – said he felt “absolutely humiliated” at being caught.

At Wirral Magistrates’ Court, Ellis, who insisted on being called “Mrs Ellis” during the hearing, admitted outraging public decency.
The incident occurred on February 29, 2024, which is also known as Singles’ Day or Ladies’ Privilege, an ancient Irish tradition whereby women can propose to men in leap years.
Ellis and Daryl Hayes, 34, had been on a night out together in Chester when they decided to have sex while under the influence of alcohol.
Angela Blackmore, prosecuting, said: ‘At 12.50pm the defendant and her co-defendant, a man, were followed by CCTV cameras around Chester city centre. They eventually stopped in Bath Street and engaged in a series of sexual acts.
‘The police arrived shortly afterwards and both were identified.
‘The public will have been able to reasonably view the incident.’
At Wirral Magistrates’ Court, Ellis, who insisted on being called “Mrs Ellis” during the hearing, admitted outraging public decency.

Ellis, who appeared to be unrepresented and upset, said: “I feel absolutely humiliated and remorseful.” Ellis told the court she is on welfare, claims child benefit and a tax credit.
Magistrate Peter Bingham told him: “Obviously there is a concern about the nature of this offence, the seriousness of it in that sense, in a public place. We are also aware of your remorse and your record, your lack of offending.
“It seems that the authorities made efforts to offer him an out-of-court settlement, but it did not work out well for him. We have read a probation report and we are going to accept it.
Bath Street is known for its Grade II listed buildings that were designed by John Douglas, whose work was often commissioned by the Grosvenor family for buildings on the Eaton Hall estate.
Ellis told the court that he receives benefits, claims child support and tax credits.
Ellis was also ordered to complete a 12-month community order, 25 days rehabilitation activity and made to pay £199 in costs and a victim surcharge.
She had previously been offered a place on a “remedial course” as an out-of-court settlement, but she failed to show up and was charged.
Ms Blackmore said: ‘She had been offered an out-of-court settlement, a reparation course, in relation to her offending but the course provider said she failed to comply.
‘He was informed of the consequences, but he did not do it. Therefore, there was no alternative but to go to court.
‘As far as the case is concerned, a guilty plea was entered in relation to the matter. The maximum sentence is six months imprisonment in the magistrates’ court. The co-accused in relation to the offence is currently being sought on a warrant.’
Hayes was also charged with indecency, but failed to appear in court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
