The Rich Dad Poor Dad author has come under fire for a joke he made on stage during his speaking tour of Australia.
Robert Kiyosaki, 76, told a woman of Asian descent that he “killed a lot” of her people during the war and then pretended to shoot her.
Groans arose from the crowd at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney on March 14, with one woman saying: ‘Oh my God. You can not say that.’
“I killed a lot of people, it’s not funny, but I did it,” said the former U.S. Marine Corps helicopter gunship pilot who served in 1971 during the Vietnam War.
Fans of the best-selling personal finance author, who paid up to $1,000 for a ticket, claimed Kiyosaki also “berated” and “humiliated” women who came up on stage to ask him questions.
Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has come under fire for a shocking joke he told in Australia. Kiyosaki appears in the photo holding his famous book.
At one point, he told the audience: ‘If you want to be a Marxist, send your kids to damn school.’
‘They will learn to be boys turned into girls. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting,’ she stated.
Kiyosaki told another woman in the crowd that she was wearing a “hot outfit” and that she “broke men’s hearts.”
Kiyosaki also said, ‘Don’t waste my fucking time, okay?’ to a fan.
The woman who posted the video said she went to the seminar with a friend.
“This was the last hour of the event where he invited audience members on stage to ask him a question,” he wrote.
“He proceeded to berate and humiliate primarily women who had very thoughtful questions.”
The event was advertised as a nine-hour seminar, but she said Kiyosaki was there for less than two hours.
“Tickets were priced between $150 and $1,000, depending on the distance between the seats and the stage,” the woman wrote.
‘In the last hour he repeated everything he said in the first hour. She then left 30 minutes early. I lost all respect for him.
He added that ‘all the other guest speakers just wanted to sell us their products.
“Then everyone was stuck in the parking lot for an hour after the event due to a broken payment machine.”

Following his seminar, Kiyosaki also held high-level events in Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland.
‘I’m going to this guy’s conference this month. Not what I expected from this lol,” one person wrote online.
But some people also defended him, with one commenter writing: “Gotta respect Robert, he’s not afraid to say what we’re all thinking.”
In January, Kiyosaki admitted he is $1.2 billion (A$1.82 billion) in debt.
