Two UFOs have been spotted flying over an oil rig off the coast of Mexico, where locals claim it is home to a secret underwater alien base.

A member of the ship’s crew near Tampico took two images: one showing a saucer-shaped craft with glowing lights surrounding the base and the other with a triangular design and three lights at the bottom.

The witness said the UAPs “hovered for what seemed like 10 minutes and then “just zoomed out in an instant,” a source told DailyMail.om.

Tampico residents believe the underwater alien base has protected them from hurricanes for more than 50 years.

The images were captured in October 2023, but have only just been posted online.

DailyMail.com spoke to oilman “Pat” who obtained the photos and information of the sighting from a colleague on another rig who was stationed in Tampico months before his arrival.

“My contact told me the UAPs came when they were putting the oil rigs on the seabed,” Pat said.

The platform, known as a “jack-up,” is a barge equipped with three long legs that can be raised or lowered.

One of the images shows the saucer-shaped craft hanging in the night sky and towering over the oil rig.

Close examination of the object shows at least 10 round lights surrounding the bottom – the only part really visible in the photo.

While the tanker said the other UFO was triangular, the only clue to its design is how the three lights at its base are positioned.

No other part of the craft is also visible.

A user blanket told DailyMail.com that a member of the intelligence community told him the triangular craft was the “Aurora” craft rumored to have been developed by the US government in the mid-1980s.

The SR 91 Aurora, a top secret aircraft in development since 1989, was considered the successor to the Lockheed Martin SR-71 Blackbird Mach 3.35 craft, which was retired in 1998.

In comparison, extreme reports claim that Aurora could reach Mach 11.8.

However, there is no evidence that the military aircraft was ever built or flown, suggesting that the image captured above the oil rig could not be of the top warplane secret.

When Pat arrived in Tampico, he discovered the locals’ belief regarding an underwater alien base called Amupac, claiming that the otherworldly beings were their protectors.

“My rig only got here recently,” he said. “It was after discovering the local belief so strong in the aliens who protected them that I spoke with a guy who is the liaison between our two platforms.

“Then he told me about the meetings. He then sent me the images.

The submerged base is believed to be a few miles from Miramar Beach, and nearby communities believe their alien visitors sat beneath the surface, protecting them from natural disasters.

And no hurricanes hit the region during this period.

The legend began in 1967 when the local newspaper El Sol de Tampico published an article titled Platillos Voladores Sobre Tampico, or “Flying Saucers Over Tampico.”

The article said “thousands of residents” had seen objects in the sky, citing the local airport control tower officer who counted “nine unidentified objects.”
