This is the moment two zookeepers were chased by a 34-year-old Silverback around a gorilla enclosure at the Fort Worth Zoo.

A zoo staff member can be seen desperately trying to outrun the Silverback that is chasing her in a tiktok clip shared online on Thursday.

The angry gorilla knocks over a container of food while chasing the employee, who is hiding behind a door in the compound.

Visitors to the Texas facility recorded the women’s attempts to flee when the incident occurred in October.

Frightened by the women, people in the horrified crowd began to pray.

‘Oh my God. God help her, God help her, God help her,” a woman is heard saying.

‘God protect her. God, animals obey the sound of your voice.

Other zoo patrons can be heard gasping and joining in to ask for divine intervention on the women’s behalf.

“Every day, zookeepers move the gorilla troop to their indoor habitat so they can place the animals’ lunch in their outdoor habitat,” but that didn’t happen that day, the zoo told DailyMail.com.

“Due to a mistake by the doorman, the staff entered the yard without knowing that the silverback was still in its habitat.”

The staff’s presence startled Elmo, the male silverback, a zoo spokeswoman added.
