Eight people have been injured after a bus and a jeep collided on the Gold Coast.
Witnesses said they saw one of the vehicles traveling on the wrong side of the road before the accident.
Six people aboard the bus carrying 40 passengers were injured. A 46-year-old woman was taken to hospital while the others were treated at the scene.

Two men, ages 25 and 21, who were traveling in the jeep, were also taken to the hospital.
A woman who arrived at the scene moments after the collision told the mail he saw “people lying everywhere.”
“I don’t know what their injuries were, but there were no seat belts on that bus and there were people lying all over the ground,” he said.
