Republican lawmakers are warning that Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz is compromised after DailyMail.com exclusively discovered he had an affair with a Chinese official’s daughter decades ago.
Walz’s tryst with Jenna Wang, daughter of a senior Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official, has lawmakers worried with seven days left until the election.
The House Oversight Committee has been investigating Tim Walz for his ties to China and CCP entities since August.
After the relationship that began in 1989 was exposed, the committee chairman exclusively told DailyMail.com that China had compromised Walz.
“Governor Tim Walz’s documented relationships with entities and officials affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party bear the hallmarks of a CCP infiltration and influence campaign,” Comer said.
Jenna Wang, pictured then and now, revealed that the two were forced to hide their relationship from her father, who would disown her for fraternizing with a Westerner.
‘The Oversight Committee is investigating Governor Walz’s involvement with Chinese entities and officials that may have allowed the CCP to influence his decision-making as a congressman and governor, and would potentially allow the CCP to influence the White House if elected Vice President . ‘
The Kentucky Republican vowed to keep pushing for answers, adding that “the American people deserve to fully understand Governor Walz’s relationship with China.”
“However, the FBI and DHS under the Biden-Harris administration are hindering our investigation,” Comer said. ‘Why are you hiding information?’
In late September, the committee subpoenaed DHS documents and communications after whistleblowers came forward expressing concerns about Walz’s connections to China.
The committee says they never received the documents they demanded, even after calling DHS attorneys.

Applying more pressure to the department, Comer published an excerpt from an internal DHS communication provided by the whistleblowers.
“Walt has the vice president.” the message said, clearly misspelling Walz’s name.
“You have no idea how this influences what (the PRC) has been doing here with him and the local government,” the same message ominously continues.
‘It’s seriously an information line. Target someone who is perceived to be able to make it to DC.
The anonymous message set off alarm bells for Comer’s initial investigation.
The committee now requires DHS to respond by Nov. 4, the day before Election Day.

On Monday, following the DailyMail.com report, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., also called for more answers.
“If today’s story in (Daily Mail) is true, Tim Walz had a relationship with the daughter of a senior Chinese Communist Party official and remained in contact with her for years,” Rubio posted on X.
“If he aspires to be vice president of the United States, voters deserve to know everything about any and all ties he has to the CCP.”
Rubio is currently the vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and also sits on the powerful Senate Foreign Affairs Committee.
However, it is not yet clear whether he will push for more investigations through these committees.
His office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Tim Walz joined the staff of the nonprofit organization WorldTeach in China in 1989. He is pictured with his students during their year of teaching in China, taken by a mutual friend and given to Wang.
The Minnesota governor and Kamala Harris’ running mate had the affair while living and teaching in China in 1989.
Walz was romantically involved with Jenna Wang, 59, who claims the vice presidential candidate showered her with gifts and seduced her at his staff quarters in Guangdong province.
The couple was sexually active, traveled together and dated frequently, Wang told DailyMail.com, and they hid everything from her father, who was then a high-ranking CCP official.
Wang’s father, Bin Hui, who was a senior CCP official and union president in his hometown of Guilin at the time of his trysts with Walz.
‘Tim was very passionate and very romantic. I still remember dancing with him to our favorite song, Careless Whisper,” Wang told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview.
“The fact that we couldn’t touch or kiss in public made it even more exciting and intense when we were finally alone.”
‘We were deeply in love and I wanted to marry him and start a family. When this didn’t happen, I felt very unhappy and sad. Tim’s behavior was very selfish.
Jenna is the daughter of CCP official Bin Hui, who died in 1999.

Wang admitted that her father would be very unhappy to know that she was dating a Westerner, so she and Walz had to keep their relationship a secret.
She described meeting Walz at one of his lectures, where she recounted that he praised her beauty.
Although he knew it wouldn’t last due to his strict father, who didn’t want him to socialize with Westerners.
“My father would have been very, very angry and sad if he had found out.”
‘I could never stay overnight because of social conventions. It was very repressive. “Couples walked around the city like robots,” Wang said.
‘But we talked for hours and hours, we stayed in bed, we had sex. He continued to buy me gifts.’
Walz, in a 1990 photo he sent to Wang, is said to have fallen madly in love with the pretty and highly educated English teacher from the nearby No. 8 Middle School several months after his arrival in Foshan.
After returning to China in 1992, the couple’s relationship soured.
She wanted to get married and move to Nebraska, where Walz was staying at the time.
However, that fell through and Walz felt he wanted a path to get to the US.
‘This was very offensive. I told him it’s both or nothing,’ he said. “I wasn’t going to give up my life or my position to move to Nebraska, a cold place in the middle of nowhere that most Chinese people had never heard of.”
