Abbey Clancy has revealed that she and her husband Peter Crouch ‘used to take helicopters to dinner’ at the height of his acting heyday.
The model, 38, admitted that being part of the “scandalous” football scene meant she often made “crazy” decisions.
He added: “I don’t remember even making that decision.” I had about five dresses. It was OTT. So when we renewed our vows, we removed it completely.’
The model and the former soccer player renewed their wedding vows on a Maldives beach during Christmas.
Abbey revealed in it jonathan ross Show: ‘We wanted to renew our vows at 10 years, but we were in isolation. The children were there.
‘We didn’t have children at our first wedding, so it was nice for them to participate.
‘It was supposed to be a specific day, but it was the World Cup final. Then (Pete) said: ‘I’m not going to marry you again on the day of the World Cup final.’ So we had to change the day.’
Of his involvement in planning the wedding, Peter explained: ‘After 10 years, I wanted to do something special because she puts up with us and the kids. She runs the house, so she wanted to do something.
The ceremony took place on December 17 in front of their four children, Abbey’s mother Karen, and friends on a private island at the Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort.
The Liverpool woman wore a stunning sheer vintage lace dress and veil made by her dressmaker friend Silvia, and former footballer Peter said he felt “butterflies” when he saw his wife walk down the aisle.

Peter and Abbey began dating in 2006 but briefly split during the European Cup and the footballer issued a statement at the time.
But it wasn’t long before they got back together, and the couple are now parents to four children.
