Jennifer Aniston was drenched in oil while filming a scene for the upcoming fourth season of The Morning Show.
While on set in New York City, the 55-year-old actress looked convincingly shocked when a climate change protester dumped a bucket of fake oil all over her body.
Just moments after arriving on set looking flawless, she was spotted with the black tar-like substance covering her white blouse and khaki pants and dripping down her arms.
She looked disgusted and made a disgruntled face as she continued filming the chaotic scene while playing fictional TV host Alex Levy and reporting live from the imaginary protest.
She was seen holding her phone aloft, which somehow narrowly escaped the splash, as the black substance soaked her clothes, stained her bag and covered her shoes.

Amidst all the chaos, background actors portraying police officers milled around the crowd to control the riot.
After the director yelled “cut,” Aniston lost her serious tone and appeared to be joking around with the cast and crew.
She was photographed pointing with one finger and raising her eyebrows while mimicking a half-hearted, not-so-stern warning expression.
Before her outfit was ruined, the TV star looked chic and business-like in a sleeveless white button-down blouse tucked into a pair of flared khaki dress pants.
She carried an orange woven leather crossbody bag and sported a delicate gold watch.
The blonde beauty left her straight hair down and looked radiant in a light and luminous makeup look.
In the drama series, which was an instant hit after its first season debuted in 2019, Aniston and Witherspoon star alongside Steve Carrell, Billy Crudup and Mark Duplass.
As production is still underway on the fourth season of Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s hit series for Apple TV+, a premiere date has not yet been announced.

For the chaotic scene, Aniston may have been channeling the rage she felt last week when she criticized Sen. JD Vance’s viral comments about “childless cat ladies” running the country.
Last Wednesday, the Friends star shared a post on her Instagram Story responding to Vance and promised to “pray” for her daughter.
Aniston has been candid about her struggles with fertility and her attempts to have a child over the years.
Above a clip of vice presidential nominee Donald Trump speaking to conservative commentator Tucker Carlson, he wrote: “I really can’t believe this is coming from a potential Vice President of the United States.
“All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to have children of her own someday,” she wrote.
“I hope she doesn’t have to resort to IVF as a second option, because you’re trying to take that away from her, too.”
Vance made disparaging remarks in a 2021 interview, which went viral after a clip recently resurfaced.

In the interview, he questioned Vice President Harris’ leadership because she had no biological children.
During Vance’s Senate campaign in Ohio at the time, he said in an interview with Fox News that “we’re actually run in this country by Democrats,” referring to them as “a bunch of childless, cat-loving women who are miserable with their own lives and the choices they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
He said they included Harris, U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat.
Vance told Carlson in the interview: “It’s a basic fact: If you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC, the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And what’s the point of us having handed our country over to people who don’t really have a vested interest in it?”
