An Australian influencer who has more than a million followers on Instagram caused an unexpected stir at Paris Fashion Week on Monday.
Suzan Mutesi made sure all eyes were on her as she strutted before legendary designer John Galliano and Pharrell Williams in an over-the-top dress that fluttered in the wind.
The gothic design featured a structured bodice and tulle pieces for a dramatic design.
The famous red carpet scene-stealer completed the look with an intricate clutch and a beaded headpiece adorned with flowers.
Pharrell, now men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton, seemed taken aback by the scene Mutesi caused.

The influencer, who previously attracted attention for attending Australian Fashion Week in a towel, continued her headline-grabbing antics by filming a fangirl moment with American singer Ciara.
In a strange conversation, Mutesi asked Ciara about Australia and mentioned kangaroos and koalas.
Earlier this year, Mutesi also made headlines for carrying a dried pumpkin instead of a bag.
Her presence at Australian Fashion Week was questioned by experts who claimed that she was not officially invited to most of the shows.
“She’s been showing up just to have her picture taken uninvited,” a source said.
Suzan arrived at Fashion Week earlier this year with two towels: one wrapped around her body and the other around her hair.
The look was a direct copy of the Vetements ‘towel’ outfit worn by singer Doja Cat before the Mat Gala 2024 red carpet.
The photos show Suzan, who has been accused of buying most of her 1.2 million Instagram followers, looking quite uncomfortable as she walked in black heels from her parked Mazda while trying to stop the towel from unfolding.

Spotting a photographer, Suzan began posing for an impromptu photo shoot in the middle of the gravel parking lot.

She also rocked a green printed dress, yellow plastic boots, neon pink sunglasses and an African basket as a hat.

She paired her towels with a bondage-style choker and futuristic sunglasses, and sometimes also donned a pair of black leather gloves and grabbed a matching teddy bear purse.

While Suzan certainly looked like an edgy fashionista, her presence at Australian Fashion Week has previously been questioned by insiders who claim she’s been pretending to attend shows.
