This is the hilarious moment a grandmother loses her balance and tips over her handlebars while riding a seesaw.
Lisa Lloyd, 55, from Feltham, Middlesex, was on holiday in Corfu when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The tourist had traveled to the Greek island with her husband David, 58, in May.
The couple decided to ask their friend Paula, a 57-year-old assistant manager of a betting shop, to film them riding a seesaw to show their four grandchildren when they got home.
However, Lisa suddenly lost her balance while sitting at the highest point of the seesaw and fell over the handles and to the ground, landing on her back.
Lisa Lloyd, 55, and her husband David, 58, were on holiday in Corfu when they decided to ride a seesaw.
Even though the 55-year-old woman was left with a cut on her ear, she now finds the incident funny.
“I turned towards the camera and my husband is a bigger person, so I lost my balance and fell over the bars,” Lisa said.
And he added: “I jumped and my ear was bleeding.” She left me with a big cut, but luckily it wasn’t my face.
It is tradition for the couple to send their family a photograph of themselves on a slide or seesaw when they are on vacation.
The tradition started a few years ago for his oldest grandson, who is now nine years old.
So when they saw the seesaw in Corfu, Lisa and her husband, who is a forklift driver, knew they had to get on it.
Lisa recalled: “Paula was only supposed to take photographs and she ended up recording. “Our grandchildren are one, four, five and nine years old and they all thought it was very funny.”
The grandmother said her husband David “panicked at first,” but as soon as he saw she wasn’t in pain, they laughed about it.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Lisa suddenly lost her balance while sitting at the highest point and fell onto the handles.
Grandma cut her ear after falling from the seesaw to the ground, but now she finds her fall very funny.
Lisa’s husband, David, a forklift driver, was initially worried about his wife after she fell off the seesaw.
The couple left for Corfu on 28 May 2024 and stayed for 10 nights before returning to the UK on 7 June.
Elsewhere on the trip, David and Lisa stayed by the beach and pool. Lisa added: “We also rented a boat and quads, but the outrigger was my downfall.”
It comes after a dad-of-two hilariously crashed into bushes after climbing onto a skip.
Matt Gentle, 40, attempted to change the batteries in two security cameras outside his home.
However, what should have been an easy task led to him crashing into the bushes.
His slip was caught by a Ring doorbell camera that captured video of him falling from the top of a container earlier this month.
Lisa and her husband tested the seesaw so they could show pictures to their grandchildren once they were home.
Lisa said her grandchildren love watching the funny video of her falling off the seesaw in Corfu.
Footage shows Matt, from Croydon, south London, removing a wheelie bin from the end of his driveway and placing it next to a bush.
He tried to climb onto the blue container and used a nearby street lamp to help him keep his balance.
The father-of-two quickly lost his way and the container tipped over beneath him, all while he continued to cling to the pole.
He landed in the bush and the container fell on its side; When Matt got up, the lid opened and the trash spilled out onto the grass.
Matt, a car sprayer, said his wife and children enjoyed the footage, adding: “It was really funny – I climbed into the bin which can’t support my weight.” I would have laughed so hard if I had seen that.
“I’m too heavy to stand on things like that, but you never learn.” I do things like that all the time. Children love the video. My son sees it all the time.
