The Strictly Come Dancing professional was married to her co-star on the BBC One Latin and ballroom dance show Neil Jones, 42, before she was caught kissing her famous dance partner, comedian Seann Walsh, 38 years, in 2018.
And the dancer has admitted that it is difficult to balance her career with meeting someone and starting a family.
Speaking on her friend Aimee Fuller’s Monday Mile podcast, she said: ‘Yes. We modern women of our time can have careers, pursue our passions.
‘Be happy and fulfilled on our own. However, on the other hand, unfortunately it does not stop our maternal clock or our aging process. So how do you balance those two things?

Katya faced a barrage of online abuse over her infidelity with Seann, who also had a girlfriend at the time, but she insists she has learned to “switch off from it”.
She said: ‘I’ve totally learned to tune it out.
‘It doesn’t define who I am. What matters to me is that right now we walk, that you know who I am and that is enough. That is enough for me.
‘That my family knows me and loves me as I am, that is enough for me.
‘But would I like to add value to the world? Yes. And I already do it in some way.
‘Sometimes people ask me, what do you do for a job? And I think I make people happy because that’s what Strictly does.’
As for Seann, he’s still haunted by the kissing scandal, recently revealing he’s never danced since and even resents ‘Strictly No Parking’ zones.
The comedian, who at the time was in a relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries, told fellow comedian Russell Howard on the Wonderbox podcast: “I don’t dance.” What really happens is when you pull up to some parking lot or something and it says, “Strictly no parking.” I still say ‘Arghh’ every time I see him.
“I can hear the word, like a dog hearing something. I can hear the word strictly and still say, ‘Arghh!’
