New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole is scheduled to make his season debut Wednesday after beginning the season on the disabled list with an elbow injury.
It’s a great confrontation. Cole will take the mound for the Yankees against the Baltimore Orioles with the two teams locked in a midseason battle atop the American League East. The Yankees announced his status on Monday.
