The Washington Commanders have signed ‘male model’ quarterback Sam Hartman as an undrafted free agent, according to multiple reports.
Hartman, who finished his college career at Notre Dame, will receive a $20,000 signing bonus and a guaranteed base salary of $225,000, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Hartman’s signing comes after the Commanders used the second overall pick in this week’s NFL Draft to select LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.
And in addition to his play on the field, Hartman is also known for his looks, with his trademark long locks and beard catching the attention of Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter during the NFL Combine in March.
Carter referred to the quarterback as a “male model” and the “most handsome guy” at the combine.
