Tyson Fury has revealed he will likely face the winner of the Anthony Joshua-Francis Ngannou showdown next year.
The ‘Gypsy King’ has been in Riyadh ahead of Joshua’s fight against the former UFC star, which takes place on Friday night, in an event that has been dubbed ‘Knockout Chaos’.
Meanwhile, Fury will face Oleksandr Usyk on May 18 for all the marbles as they fight to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999 in Saudi Arabia.
Fury then, following a discussion on Tuesday with His Excellency Turki Alashikh, revealed that he will face the winner of Joshua and Ngannou.
However, in an exclusive interview with Mail Sport, he revealed that the fight will likely take place in 2025, with plans to return to Riyadh in late 2024.

Tyson Fury spoke to Mail Sport about Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou’s upcoming fight, as well as how his nasty cut that postponed his fight with Oleksandr Usyk has healed.
Joshua (left) and Ngannou (right) will face off inside the boxing ring in Riyadh on Friday night.
Speaking to Charlotte Daly, Fury said: “Actually, it probably won’t even be this year.”
“Because we are going to do a fight in May and we will do one in the Riyadh season again, at the end of the year, so yes, probably next year.”
The Gypsy King, who won a split decision when he faced Ngannou in December, also weighed in on who he wants to win the fight, ahead of a possible fight next year.
Fury said: “Whoever wins is big for me.” If AJ wins, it’s a good opportunity for a big British showdown again, and if Ngannou wins, it’s a good opportunity for a rematch for me.
“So for me it’s a win-win situation.” Yes, make no mistake: the winner of this, I will potentially give a world title shot later this year or next.”
Fury was supposed to face Usyk in mid-February, however after suffering a nasty cut he was forced to postpone the fight.
However, while speaking to Mail Sport, the British boxer reflected on how well the cut has healed and suggested he will “fight with the cut” if necessary.
He said, ‘Can’t you see it? It’s not visible, which is great. It’s healing very well. And I’ll be ready for camp at the end of March.
‘Yes, it was one of those things. Things happen and we move on with life, we move on.’
Fury’s rescheduled fight against Uysk will take place on May 18 with the rematch taking place later this year.
Joshua said an all-British showdown with Fury has been “in the works” “for a long time.”
Fury’s comments come shortly after Joshua said a dream British heavyweight showdown is “in the works”.
When asked if he would fight Fury on Good Morning Britain, Joshua said: “It’s the golden question, I would say sooner rather than later.”
‘It’s in the works, it’s been bubbling for a long time and it has to happen.
‘We are with you guys. We are talking about it, it will definitely happen sooner rather than later, mark my words.’
When asked for more information about what he means by the fight being in the pipeline, he added: “Not in depth like that (finding a place and date for the fight), but there is a map.”
“For example, someone would say ‘these are the checkpoints’ and if I can complete these checkpoints then Fury is part of my journey and I’m sure I’m part of his too; I’d be foolish not to.”
