The Fiserv Forum erupted in loud boos and jeers when former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley took the stage, but her former rival, President Donald Trump, gave her a standing ovation in a clear sign of unity.
She took the stage just after Trump made another WWE-style walkout during the second night of the Republican National Convention.
The giant screen showed the former president pumping his fist and smiling as he walked from the tunnels behind the stage to the lower area of the convention.
A short video montage of Trump dancing to The Village People’s YMCA sparked excitement and joy among waiting fans.
Flashing red, white and blue lights and a roar of support greeted the former president as he emerged into his VIP box packed with family, friends and his most loyal supporters.

The second day of the Republican Convention has seen many popular Republicans take the stage: Vivek Ramaswamy, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, House Speaker Tom Emmer, R-Minn., and more.
Speakers have criticized Biden’s border policies, the president’s age and vision of a renewed America under Trump’s leadership.
A surprise guest, former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley (who had a bitter primary with the former president before dropping out) received massive boos when she took the stage.
Later in her speech, she turned the crowd around and said you don’t have to “agree 100% with Trump” to vote for him.
The alternative – Biden and Harris leading – is much worse, he explained.
“I’m going to start by making one thing perfectly clear: Donald Trump has my full support,” he said to cheers.
“Our country is at a critical moment. We have a choice to make. For over a year, I have said that a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for President Kamala Harris. After watching the debate, everyone knows that is true.”

He punched his noisy supporters in the air in encouragement.
The crowd erupted into loud applause as he made his entrance.
He then sat down next to his newly elected vice president, JD Vance.
