I’m often surrounded by dozens of phone cases, and many of them are perfect. They just don’t stand out or have a quirk that I don’t like. That’s what you’ll find below. You might enjoy them more than I did.
OtterBox Figure MagSafe Case for $50: These tie-dye phone cases are great. The buttons click well and the MagSafe connection is strong. They are a little slippery, but the edges around the screen are raised enough to protect it.
OtterBox Symmetry Series Cactus Leather Case for MagSafe for $47: Cactus leather is not as sustainable as companies want us to think, since fossil fuel-based plastics are still used in their construction. This OtterBox case It is at least a little more environmentally friendly than polycarbonate cases, and it is A very luxurious caseI love the texture, which gives it a bit of grip, and it’s very thin. I just wish the buttons were a little easier to press.
Thinborne Ultra-Slim MagSafe iPhone 15 Case for $60: Just like Totallee, if you hate cases but still want something that will protect your device from scratches, this super slim case from Thinborne will do the trick. It’s made from aramid fiber and is a hard case. very It’s hard to get it off (unless you have long nails). It has MagSafe built in and is sturdy, though again, remember that this isn’t a case designed to protect against drops. Thinborne includes two screen protectors in the box, which is great.
Waterfield Designs EDC iPhone Pocket Organizer for $59:If you prefer to keep your iPhone in a bag all the time but don’t want it to get messed up by other items, this is a good option from Waterfield Designs. It fits the iPhone 15 Pro Max perfectly and has pockets for pens, cards, and cash. The main zippered compartment can also hold a passport, and there’s even a small pouch for AirTags to track the bag if you lose it. It’s made from X-Pac, which is water-resistant, though only items in the zippered pouch will benefit.
Mous Limitless 5.0 MagSafe Case for $60: Mous has a few different textures you can choose from. Aramid is boring, but I would recommend going with walnut or bamboo if you want a wood case. The case is well-built with polycarbonate, thermoplastic urethane, and thermoplastic elastomer. The edges around the screen are raised, the MagSafe connection is strong, and the buttons work well. I did find the edges to be a bit slippery.
Mous IntraLock MagSafe Phone Case for $60: This is A slim and pretty case With pressable buttons and raised edges for the screen and camera module. It comes with Mous’ patented IntraLock system, allowing you to connect it more securely with other Mous accessories, such as a bike standI prefer Peak Design’s SlimLink line of accessories, but this is a nice alternative.
Spigen Tough Armor MagFit ($25): The rugged Tough Armor has some of the best buttons I’ve ever pressed on a case, including the action button. There’s a hole in the center to show off the classic Apple logo, and on the front, the edges are raised above the screen for extra protection. The kickstand is fine. I have a bit of trouble getting it out and it only works in landscape orientation. But hey, it’s cheap. I’ve tried it too. Spigen Mag Armor and Tough armorbut I don’t like them as much as the Tough Armor or the previous picks.
OtterBox Commuter MagSafe Case for $35: This case is kind of the inverse of the Defender XT we recommended above. You have to put a rubber case over your iPhone, and the polycarbonate shell with the MagSafe component goes on the back. It’s pretty solid overall, except the MagSafe isn’t as strong as on OtterBox’s other cases. I don’t know if it’s because of the weight of the Pro Max I tested it with, but it did come off my MagSafe wireless charging stands more easily.
Rokform Crystal Series and Rugged Series for $70: It’s a thick, sturdy case, but its selling point is the strong MagSafe connection, which the company claims is four or five times stronger on magnetic surfaces than typical MagSafe cases. This is true — it stuck to my metal desk just fine. If you want a strong magnetic connection, this is perfect. However, it’s also a problem when you want to find perfect alignment on the first try with your MagSafe wireless chargers. Since almost the entire back of the case is magnetic, you’ll find yourself fumbling to get it in just the right spot to charge. This kind of defeats the purpose of MagSafe, doesn’t it?
Casetify MagSafe Ultra Bounce Case for $88: Frankly, paying $100 for a case seems crazy to me. I’m not a huge fan of the camera covers on this case – I feel like I get them dirty more than ever because they sit flush with the rest of the case. The volume rocker is also a little soft. That said, the huge corner bumps have a good chance of absorbing impact and protecting your phone. You’ll have a hard time fitting this into a pocket, but there’s a place to attach a lanyard (not included) if you want to hang this bulky thing on your wrist. Casetify also has a ton of different designs to choose from. I’ve previously tried and tested these designs. Just like their Impact cases ($68)which are still expensive, but cheaper than this.
Catalyst Influence MagSafe Case for $60: This case has speaker ports that direct the iPhone’s bottom speakers towards your face, and it’s quite effective! Action button Sadly, there’s a cutout instead of a button, but it’s not too difficult to access. Non-Pro models have the classic Catalyst rotary button that you can flip to activate the mute switch.
Burga Elite MagSafe Case for $85: These cases have several designs to choose from, and they certainly look like something out of New York Fashion Week. The buttons are solid, the screen is somewhat protected by raised edges, and while the action button on the Pro models is a cutout rather than a button, it’s not difficult to access. The MagSafe connection is reliable and has a decent grip. Burga also has a Case without MagSafe ($35) If you’re not interested in magnets, but it seems decidedly cheaper.
Wave Case MagSafe Case for $47: These cases have a cutout for the action button on the Pro models, but it’s relatively easy to access. The MagSafe support is solid, and they otherwise work perfectly. They’re just a little boring. No The good thing is that they are made from biodegradable wheat straw and come in 100% recyclable packaging.
MagSafe Case for UAG Pathfinder for $50: I’ve tried a ton of UAG cases and the Pathfinder is my favorite. The design, specifically in a solid color like Cloud Blue, has a spacey industrial look to it. Great! The sides are grippy, there’s a place to attach a lanyard, and it connects well to MagSafe accessories. Sadly, the action button is a cutout, but that’s not an issue for the case. iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus and its mute switch!
Speck Presidio Perfect-Clear MagSafe Case for $50: This is a decent clear case, but the action button is a little hard to press. It also smudges pretty easily. It comes with Speck’s patented ClickLock magnetic mounting solution for added security with Speck’s MagSafe accessories, but you can use any MagSafe device with this case. It’s made with 50 percent recycled plastic.
Spigen Optik Armor Magfit Case for $27: This case is only available for The Pro modelsIt covers the rear cameras, whether you want to keep them protected or want extra privacy and peace of mind. I like the matte texture on the back. I noticed some reviews say they’ve had issues using it with wireless chargers and MagSafe accessories, but I haven’t had any issues myself. The camera cover hangs off the edge when you leave it open, but you can remove it completely if you’re going to be taking a lot of photos. Just don’t lose it! The action button is also a little stiff.
Incipio AeroGrip MagSafe Case for iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max for $30: It doesn’t move around much on a table and, as the name suggests, offers a pretty good grip. However, the action button is cut out and I found it a bit difficult to access.
MagSafe Incipio Forme Clear Case for $40: This is a fun clear case with a sleek design that glows rainbow colors when light hits it. Like the AeroGrip, the action button is cut out and difficult to press, but I had no issues with the rest of the device. It’s a solid option for non-Pro iPhones.
Mous Clarity 2.0 MagSafe Case for $75: This clear case It has a black bumper and a solid MagSafe holder. The buttons are clicky and the edges around the screen are slightly raised. However, it smudges easily and the price is too high compared to previous clear cases.
Case-Mate D30 Ultra-Durable MagSafe Case for $19: On this case, access to the action button is a cutout, which is annoying, but otherwise it’s pretty nice. The edges are raised all around, and the buttons click. The only problem? Why is there a big Case-Mate D30 logo on the back of the case? People want a clear case to see their phone, not their trademark.
Caseology Athlex Case for $10: This case is very cheap, but it doesn’t feel that way at all. It has a nice, grippy texture that gives it a luxurious look, with grooved edges that make it more comfortable to hold. It’s just Available for Pro modelsAnd the only drawback is the lack of MagSafe. If you don’t like Apple’s magnetic accessory system, this case will satisfy you.
Cyrill Kajuk Mag MagSafe Case for $27: I tried a few Cyrill cases, including the Cecile Clear Glitter and UltraSheer Magazineand this is my favorite of all. It is only available for The Pro modelsbut it ticks all the boxes, has good MagSafe support, and even comes with a lanyard.
15:21 Cork case for $45: I find it hard to recommend a case that costs this much and doesn’t include MagSafe. Still, the Cork has an unusual but pleasing aesthetic, and it’s sustainably made. None of the buttons are covered, and it’s very thin, so it’s not meant to protect your phone from drops, but rather from everyday scratches. The iPhone 15 will still attach to MagSafe accessories through this case, but the magnetic attachment is noticeably weaker, making things precarious.
UAG Civilian MagSafe Case for $60: In the limited time I’ve had it, this case has ticked a lot of boxes, though it’s a bit plain. The MagSafe is sturdy and the buttons click. What I’m concerned about are the Amazon reviews that claim this case wears out after a few months. I haven’t been able to test it for that long to verify those claims.
