Rudy Giuliani’s daughter Caroline announced her support for Kamala Harris in a scathing essay in which she blames Donald Trump for taking her father away from her.

Caroline, a 35-year-old filmmaker, wrote in an essay for vanity fair: ‘I have been grieving the loss of my father at the hands of Trump. I can’t bear to lose our country to him too.

She talks about how she cried when the former New York City mayor first told her he was going to be Trump’s lawyer, which happened in 2018.

“Watching my father’s life fall apart since he joined forces with Trump has been extraordinarily painful,” he says.

“Trump becoming president was the worst thing that has ever happened to my father, my family and the modern history of our nation.”

Caroline’s mother is Donna Hanover, Giuliani’s second wife. He was four years old when his father was elected mayor of New York and the family moved to Gracie Mansion.

She was photographed at her father’s inauguration in 1994, wearing a pink coat and holding her father’s face.

After her parents divorced in 2000, she and her mother lived at Gracie Mansion until Giuliani’s term expired. They then moved to East Manhattan.

His brother Andrew also worked for Donald Trump.

Rudy Giuliani has suffered a long fall from grace since he was known as “America’s Mayor” after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, where he led New York City’s response and helped the city recover economically and emotionally.

He lost his law license in Washington, DC, and in New York City, where he made a name for himself as a prosecutor in the United States Southern District Court.

He led false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. He is accused in Arizona of trying to overturn the election results there. And he also owes $148 million to two Georgia election workers whom a court ruled Giuliani had defamed by claiming they helped steal the election from Trump.

In many ways, it has become a national joke… and a national tragedy.

But Caroline points out that even though the two have been separated since he divorced her mother, she still loves him.

‘My dad and I have a cartoonishly complicated relationship. But he is still my father and, despite his flaws, I love him,” she writes.

‘I’ve seen him experience surreal highs and, now, unfathomable lows. The last thing I want to do is hurt him, especially when he’s already down. Plus, we never know how much time we have left with our parents. The totality of that makes this the most difficult piece I have ever written. However, this moment and this election are much bigger than any of us.”

Caroline Giuliani, who supported Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016, details in her essay her concerns about how Trump would act if he became president with complete immunity from any action taken while in the White House and what his presidency would mean. for abortion rights.

And he praises Harris: “She has the experience, intelligence and strength to guide us toward a better future, and watching her hold Trump accountable in the debate only further confirms her ability to defend us from our most dangerous enemies, domestic and foreign.” ‘

‘Believe me, Trump destroys everything he touches. I saw what happened to my family. Don’t let this happen to yours or our country.’
